My narcissist ex never, ever had trouble sleeping.

Being quite the complete dysfunctional package, he ticked most of the boxes on the women’s aid page, about types of narcissist (http://www.womensaid.org.uk/messages.asp?topicid=3404&section=00010001000800210001.

He would often tell me things, warning me what he was (card calling narcissist). With him, I’m not sure it was conscious.

Once, he told me a story from when he first started in the army. His commanding officer had remarked on his unusual ability to sleep after the first time engaging in active warfare. The officer said he was the only guy he’d ever witnessed having a full night of peaceful slumber after having done what he had to do.

Never once can I remember him losing any sleep, even though I developed insomnia as I literally felt I was sleeping with the enemy. In fact, he would go through periods of sleeping for nearly days at a time…
